Are living with Parkinson’s, MS, or another neurological condition

Want one-on-one care to help you stay active and independent

We Listen First: We learn what’s changed, what’s challenging you, and what you want to get back to doing.
We Look at the Whole Picture: We assess your strength, balance, mobility, movement, and everyday function.
We Build a Plan for You: Your treatment is tailored to your abilities, goals, and what meaningful progress looks like for you.

Step 1: Schedule Your Initial Evaluation
Call our office or submit a form to schedule a time that works best for you.
Step 2: Your First Visit
Our expert team will take the time to understand your concerns, evaluate how your body moves, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals.
Step 3: Get Back To Living Life
As your movement improves and your pain decreases, you'll regain the confidence to enjoy the activities that matter most—whether that's traveling, golfing, gardening, or spending time with family.

Many of our patients come to us after physical therapy, but still aren’t where they want to be.
At Kinney Physical Therapy, we take the time to understand what’s still limiting you, what you’ve already tried, and what meaningful progress looks like in your everyday life. Your care is personalized and one-on-one, with treatment built around your current abilities and goals—not a one-size-fits-all plan.
For patients recovering from stroke or living with Parkinson’s, MS, and other neurological conditions, our Neuromuscular Restoration Program provides a focused approach to helping you improve or maintain function, move with greater confidence, and stay as independent as possible
Your initial evaluation is approximately 90 minutes and is always one-on-one with Dan Kinney. He'll take time to understand your concerns, perform a comprehensive whole-body evaluation, and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your goals.
We help adults 65+ with a wide range of neurological, orthopedic, balance, and mobility challenges.
This includes stroke recovery, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), neuropathy, balance problems and fall risk, weakness, difficulty walking, arthritis and joint pain, back and neck pain, and recovery after surgery or injury.
If you don’t see your condition listed, contact us. We’ll learn more about what you’re experiencing and help determine whether Kinney Physical Therapy is the right fit for you.
In many cases, you can begin physical therapy without a physician referral, although requirements can vary depending on your insurance or specific situation. If you're unsure, our team can help determine what you need before your first visit.
Every patient is different because every condition is different. Many patients begin noticing improvements as they progress through their personalized treatment plan. Our goal is not only to reduce pain but to help restore lasting movement, confidence, and function.
Yes. Many of our patients have been dealing with pain for months or even years before coming to us. Whether your pain developed gradually or followed an injury or surgery, our goal is to understand what's contributing to it and create a plan focused on helping you move better and live more comfortably.
Absolutely. No two patients receive the same treatment plan. Dan Kinney develops every plan based on your movement evaluation, lifestyle, goals, and the factors contributing to your condition so your care is tailored specifically to you.

Dan Kinney has dedicated his life to health, well-being, maximizing one’s potential, and helping others. His extensive studies have included graduating from Northwestern University’s Physical Therapy program, IPEC Institute for Professional Excellence Life, Wellbeing and Performance coaching programs, and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach program.
Most recently, realizing that the medical system was treating symptoms and not getting to the root cause, Dan sought out better health solutions, not only for himself but also for his clients. Dan discovered the power of Functional Medicine and the Health Restore Program.
As a physical therapist, functional medicine practitioner, and health and life coach, Dan brings 40+ years of experience working with a variety of clients, from professional, Olympic, college, and high school athletes to chronic condition clients. Dan has created a unique, one-of-a-kind approach that has helped many people overcome their condition. Dan prides himself on the client who was recommended surgery, the person who has tried other forms of therapies without resolution, or the athlete trying to overcome their nagging injury and not getting resolved.
Personal experience of trauma, illness, and injury, including mercury poisoning that was undiagnosed for years, a motor vehicle accident resulting in back and leg pain, an ACL tear, and a fractured hip, has contributed to Dan’s understanding and commitment to the healing process and helping others.
All of these experiences have led to the formula of overcoming dysfunction, achieving good health, and moving toward optimal well-being.
